Coil needs to be pulled & cleaned along with replacement of TXV Pulled evaporator coil & cleaned it & also changed out the TXV. Unit is cooling again. Mentioned to wife that it could still be undersized due to the square footage of the home being (3000sqft) & only having a 5 ton. Will check in with them tomorrow to see how it worked. No other issues to report.

Unit cooling when I arrived. Checked the unit and everything looked good other than the capacitors. Replaced it with a dual cap and checked pressures. All good to go

Completed cooling tune up, unit was low on refrigerant but after checking both coils I didn’t see any signs of leaks. Mentioned to customer that it could be under charged after Trent moved the unit over & extended the lines out. Charged it up & got the pressures/temperatures back where they should be. No other issues to report.

Adjusted the damper on the duct cause it was completely shut causing rooms to not cool. As for the leak it has nothing to do with the unit.

Ductwork is good and didn’t see any issues causing those rooms to be hotter than the others. Did full inspection and noticed the capacitor is bad. Signed them up on a membership and completed tune up along with changing out capacitor

Unit had a very dirty evaporator coil, cleaned it in place but still was pretty dirty. Recommended a coil removal cleaning & replacing the txv, will send estimate tomorrow.

Evaporator coil was really dirty making the pressures seem lower than what they should be. Gave an estimate for a coil cleaning & she said she was going to be out of town the rest of this week but next week she would look over the estimate & get back with us. No other issues to report.

Upon arrival the condenser fan motor was not turning on. Checked the dual cap and found it was bad. Put a new one on to see if the motor would turn on and it did not even with the correct voltage. Got approval from customer to replace cap and motor. Everything started working but pressures were off. Added 2 pounds and now house is cooling

Compressor terminal blew, needs to be replaced Changed compressor & charged it up, but the contactor is not allowing the circuit we changed out to come on. Per Toby, we will come out next week to find short circuit

Compressor had a terminal blown & let out all the refrigerant for that circuit. Compressor will need to be replaced. Gave an estimate for replacement. No other issues to report.

Dual capacitor was bad on the condenser. After changing it out, checked pressures/temperatures & they seemed a bit higher than usual so I rinsed the unit off & they improved. No other issues to report.

Condensate pump & thermostat were bad. Changed out condensate pump & tried another head from another thermostat & unit began cooling, mentioned we had some on our van but once he saw the price he wanted to just replace it himself. Unit is cooling again. No other issues to report.

Wire was burnt up on the herm side of the capacitor. Checked the capacitor to make sure it was still good & it was. Stripped the wire back & reconnected it to the capacitor & the unit began cooling again. No other issues to report.

The indoor coil is severely stopped up. Recommended pulling coil out to clean and also condenser has bad capacitor which I also recommended replacing. Other than that no other issues

Blower motor is bad, checked the capacitor on the motor & it was still within the 10% mark. Didn’t recommend doing repairs on the unit because of the age but they would rather see if the blower motor will fix it but also mentioned there could be other issues underlying besides just the motor. Will send an estimate for blower motor replacement, no other issues to report.

Office staff was super friendly, informative and quick to get someone dispatched to us. Highly recommend Trenton Marks as our technician. He was quick to arrive, super friendly and polite, knowledgeable, and talked us through caring for our ac unit. Our unit was frozen solid and not much he could do until it thaws although he believes our dirty unchanged filter to be the culprit, so change your filter often folks! With that being said, he already took the time to schedule a follow up appointment to clean our unit and thoroughly inspect it for any other issues.

Our AC quit working bc of some work done by our contractors workers. We weren’t sure what was going on with it. I called at 2:18 and scheduled an appointment for 4-6 for same day service. The tech called me at 2:43 to see if we were available for him to come head to our house. They figured out that it was a fuse that was blown and it was about 30 minutes and they had our AC working. Both technicians were nice and knowledgeable. We will definitely call them in the future for any service needs!
