Completed ac tune ups for 4 systems. Unable to access north system for back living room due to stuff in garage right under attic access. Capacitor for fan motor on master room system was below 10% mark. Replaced capacitor (10mfd). Circuit board on condenser possibly on its way out, wasn’t getting 24v coming out of board, checked all connections from thermostat/air handler/condenser & all were good except for the 24v leaving the board to the contactor. Put everything back & system randomly began working properly. Mentioned this to Kirk & he said he would wait on getting board replaced. Replaced 1 filter only due to not having the correct sizes but Kirk said he would go buy some. Other than that everything checked out good to go with no issues to report. Yard sign & comfort survey already placed & filled.

Inspected indoor unit and found 3/4 pvc male fitting broken off evaporator coil drain pan Replaced fitting tested cooling and drain everything is operational Customer needs to install new filter doesn’t use unit too often Bill out
Performed cooling maintenance on 2 units Only issue found was that the upstairs unit does not have a float switch on pan or indoor coil, if drain over flows there could be water damage in the ceiling Customer went for drain pan treatments on 2 units and will want to schedule next month to install float switch
Filter drier needs to be replaced, system pumped down, vacuum, pressure tested, & recharged, capacitor for fan motor is below 10% mark, recommend replacement, 2 wire is exposed, recommend cutting & rewiring. Replaced filter drier, capacitor & thermostat wire. Charged system up with 7lbs (410a). System is functioning properly again. No other issues to report.

I am a 30+ year customer of Mega Solutions. When my 12 y/o HVAC roof mount package unit died Oct 2, I knew I would be in trusted hands throughout the process of choosing the best unit to fit my needs. All was assessed & considered without having to make a rushed decision. The Mega Solutions team from office staff to field technicians went above & beyond to accommodate my scheduling preferences & assist me in little disruption to my routine. Due to my health & physical limitations, my expressed concerns were listened to & resolved. I & my aging dog were able to remain in my handicap accessible home. Mega set up a no charge loaner for my bedroom (87 degrees @8pm). Toby, Manny, & Mark arrived @6:30 am the next day to install 2 window units Toby picked up for me to cool the great room. How fortunate & blessed by to have professionals who provide expertise, excellent service & caring hearts.
